Gorge
Alongside the Wimbachklamm forge, the Almbachklamm gorge is the most famous gorge near Berchtesgaden. It can even be visited from the camping resort. The gorge at the foot of the Untersberg is a total of three kilometers long. Our guests make their way over numerous bridges, footbridges, stairs & through tunnels. In addition to huge waterfalls, there are also several pools to marvel at. The Wimbachklamm forge, on the other hand, is located in the mountaineering village of Ramsau. A clear recommendation is the route through the Wimbachklamm gorge & then into the Wimbachgries. Both gorges are usually only open in the summer months.
