Rossfeld panoramic road

360 degree panorama - whether summer or winter, the Rossfeldstreet is a real "must- see" whatever the season. The highest panoramic toll road in Germany runs along the border to Austria. With breathtaking views over the Berchtesgaden & Salzburg mountains, you can go for a walk or a hike. In summer, some of the mountains huts are even open & invite you to enjoy a "Brotzeit, am Schnapserl & am Bier". The route is also popular with motorcyclists.

Up the mountain

The panoramic road also provides a starting point for a hike to the Ahornbüchsenkopf or the Purtschellerhaus. For more experienced mountain sports enthusiasts, a tour to the Hoher Göll is a good option.
